Current Positions

Air Quality Specialist- Intermediate/Senior

The LEHDER team consists of over 40 talented technologists, scientists, engineers, and project managers. We are looking for an intermediate or senior level industrial air quality specialist with a minimum of 3 years of air quality experience to join our team in Sarnia.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be joining our Industrial Services Group.  Project work will include creating source and emission inventories including calculation development; conducting dispersion modelling for both permitting and incident scenarios; compiling Emission Summary and Dispersion Modelling Reports and ECA Applications; and preparing NPRI/GHG calculations and reports.

 Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, Environmental Technology or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in air permitting and emission inventory development
  • Dispersion modelling skills using AERMOD (CalPuff would be an asset)
  • Demonstrated expertise in Excel with emphasis on data analysis, calculation development using a variety of functions, and QA/QC strategies
  • Experience in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements
  • Strong skills related to technical writing and oral and written communication

Air Dispersion Modeller- Intermediate/Senior

The LEHDER team consists of over 40 talented technologists, scientists, engineers, and project managers. We are looking for an intermediate or senior level air dispersion modeller with a minimum of 3 years of air quality experience to join our team in Sarnia.

Job Description

The successful candidate will join our Industrial Services Group. Project work will include conducting air dispersion modelling for permitting, solution development and incidents. The position will allow you to apply your comprehensive understanding of air dispersion modelling and meteorology concepts. You will be responsible for developing and managing dispersion models for large complex industrial facilities and performing analysis to aid in solution development. Your experience with regulatory modelling in Ontario with AERMOD and CALPUFF will enable you to provide support to our core group of air dispersion modellers and mentor junior team members.

 Qualifications
